Thank you so much for the Nutella Beignets. I hate to admit it but you were right. They were better than sex. I actually reccommend saving them until the next morning. You may want to put that on the menu lol.

Chris and I loved everything about the place. The ambience, service, and especially the food. Your staff is superb. Chris told a couple people that it was the best place she had ever eaten, and we dine out often. You will surely see us again soon.

It was great to see you. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

My compliments to the chef!

A couple of months ago my husband and I came to Burlington for a getaway weekend and had dinner at your restaurant. I had the Tortelloni ai Funghi which was absolutely the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life! So I was wondering if you would at all consider sharing the recipe with me. I raved about it to my mother who is as big a fan of anything with mushrooms as I am. I would love to make it for her sometime or at least attempt something similar. I have looked online for anything resembling that dish but keep turning up empty. I am from a big Italian family and I can understand about keeping recipes a “secret” but I truly would be forever grateful if you would share just this one. If not could you at least give me some hints so maybe I can figure it out? If you can help… great! Otherwise I will just have to wait ’til I get back to Burlington to get some more of that delicious tortelloni! Keep up the great work. Thanks very much!

New Menu

We will start our new Winter menu on Friday January 2, 2009.  Highlights of this Winter’s Menu to include: Osso Bucco; Squash Ravioli with sage, brown butter, & cranberry confit; & grilled lamb sausage with braised fennel. This winter we are again highlighting the heartier dishes of Southern Italy, also dont forget that Sundays will continue to be Lasagna night at Pulcinella’s throughout the winter.

Gingerbread House 2008

Jen Ryan our very talented Pastry Chef, finished last week her very first Gingerbread House.  Jen’s Gingerbread house was made from our own template that we crafted out of poster board.  After making sure the template worked Jen started making the gingerbread dough, rolling it out, par baking it off, cutting out all the walls, windows, doors, roof, & porch pieces.  After a second baking and then cooling it came time to add the stained glass windows.  To give this look, she had to use Jolly Rancher candies to fill all the windows & doors.  After a low baking in the oven, it was time to cool all the pieces and get ready for the assembly.  It only took Jen three days to do the final assembly.  Immediately you notice the attention to detail that Jen has, from the “rock” foundation, and chimney, to the Christmas wreaths on the front door and back of the house.  When lit from the light within the house, the stained glass windows give off the feeling of a warm winters night up north.  Jen’s Gingerbread house will be on display at the restaurant until Valentines day.  We at Pulcinella’s hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season.

Sunday Night Lasagna Special

Due to popular demand for Lasagna, we started two weeks ago offering a special dinner on Sunday nights, in addition to our regular menu we are offering a Lasagna dinner Special; for $19 you get your choice of Lasagna Bolognese or Spinach and Four Cheese Lasagna, and your choice of a cup of Minestrone or a small mixed greens salad to start!  We do not offer Lasagna on our regular menu, so if you are craving Lasagna come and see us Sunday nights!
